Lower Breck manager Gary Moore has talked up Congleton Town’s qualities ahead of their meeting.
Goals Connor Rankin and Connor McCarthy helped the Breck back to winning ways in the North West Counties Premier Division during their 2-0 win over AFC Liverpool.
The win moved them up to 10th ahead of their trip to Cheshire. But Moore is not overlooking the clash.
He told Off The Park: “[We] Keep saying it, we’ll keep saying it every time we’re in there, they had a cracking start, a couple of defeats now – a tough one in midweek. Another tough place to go, we went there and got beat in a tight one.
“We’ll dust the lads down, you’re going in there in better shape than losing on the Thursday night, we’ll see what we’ve got and then go again.
“Congleton are a really good side, a big side from what we’ve come up against in the past. They’re well drilled, organised, on that pitch – it’s a massive pitch – but it’s all about us and what we do, that’s what it’s about really.”
