Campfield’s National Cup to be streamed live and for free

Campfield lift the FA Sunday Cup in 2015 after beating OJM FC 2-0 at Ewood Park.

The Campy’s National Cup final on Sunday will be streamed live and for free, videography and production company Pyro Media have confirmed.

The North-East media outlet live streamed the two semi-finals at the end of April.

Luton-based St Joe’s will be the Liverpool sides opponents at the weekend in the rescheduled 2019-20 FA Sunday Cup Final.

Elliott Nevitt’s double and assist set the Campy on course to the final as they beat Peterlee Catholic Club 3-0.

In the other fixture, the two-time National Cup winners overcame London rivals Portland FC.

The Bedfordshire club are all that stand in the way of the Business Houses club as they look to win their first National Cup since 2015, where they beat OJM FC 2-0 at Ewood Park.

Pyro Media will be at the FA’s National Football Centre, St George’s Park, on Sunday with the game kicking off at 2pm.

Speaking to Off The Park, they said, “We’re a video production company based in Durham and have past experience of covering various sports from football to ice hockey.

“We have previously produced the North East Football Show, which was shown on Made TV on Freeview and satellite. It focused on non-league football teams across the North East of England that would usually get little regional coverage.

“When we were approached by Peterlee Catholic Club to stream their semi-final against Campfield FC, we knew straight away we wanted to support them and the sport. After confirming the coverage of that game, we were then approached by the manager at St Joseph’s FC to see if we would also stream their game against Portland FC.

“We are incredibly proud to be able to bring the sport to fans up and down the country, that would otherwise be unable to see the games being held behind closed doors due to COVID.

“To see the number of people viewing the semi-finals live and commenting along was incredible, and we hope that it will be the same case with the final this Sunday.”
